From outdated software to lack of physical security, voting machines can be vulnerable to tampering, technical failures, and cyberattacks. Understanding these weaknesses is crucial to ensuring safe and secure elections. This session is designed for anyone interested in election integrity, cybersecurity, or public policy.

Introduction to AI for Advocates is a beginner-friendly training designed to help advocates, organizers, and concerned citizens understand the growing role of artificial intelligence in society. This class will explain what AI is, how it's being used in areas like social media, surveillance, healthcare, and elections, and why it matters for those working to protect civil liberties and democratic processes. Participants will learn about the benefits and risks of AI, how it can both help and harm advocacy efforts, and what questions to ask when evaluating AI-driven tools and policies. No technical background is required—just curiosity and a commitment to informed, ethical advocacy in a rapidly changing digital world.

This hands-on workshop introduces volunteers and field organizers to Numinar, the AI-powered campaign platform transforming grassroots outreach into data-driven strategy. We’ll dive into its core tools: voter CRM, predictive modeling, and canvassing, calling, and texting apps that are intuitive, reliable, and mobile-friendly.

Join us for a collaborative workshop following up on our statewide voter registration drives! This session is an opportunity to share what's working, troubleshoot challenges, and strengthen our strategies as we push toward bigger goals. We’ll have open Q&A, real-time feedback from the field, and updates on the progress of Operation Precinct Power—our exciting contest to boost civic engagement one precinct at a time. Whether you’re leading a local effort or just getting started, this is a great chance to connect, learn, and recharge for the road ahead.

Join us for a one-hour training designed to confidently counter common objections to hand-counting ballots. In this session, you'll gain a clear, practical overview of how hand counts work—from chain of custody to tally procedures—and why they are a secure, transparent, and reliable method of election verification. We’ll address the most frequent concerns about hand-counting, such as speed, accuracy, and cost, with real-world examples and data. To wrap up, participants will get hands-on experience tallying sample ballots themselves. Whether you're an advocate, election worker, or simply curious, this class will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to support hand-counting as a trustworthy part of the democratic process.
